My name is Satish Kumar Singh and many know me as Satish.
Born and raised in a Mirzapur is a city in Uttar Pradesh, India, roughly 650 km from both Delhi and Kolkata.
Ever since I was a little boy I've love cooking. When I was little I would watch my mom cook dinner. Once I was tall enough to reach to the stove top, I would help her make dinner.
As I grew my desire and passion for cooking grew along and not too long I joined Rizvi College of Hotel Management -Mumbai and completed my catering course in the year 2001.
Soon I started my own restaurant in Mumbai called Mithsh Pvt Ltd and learned the real authentic Indian taste and delicacy as I got to know many customers and their demands for the real taste.
"Moved to Australia in 2003"
And have worked in various Indian restaurant and gave me a much more insight into the Australians love for Indian Food.
The desire and the hunger driven for food made to decide to open my own restaurant right here in Cairns called Bombay Kitchen.
I especially love really spicy food from all different cuisines, My favourite is North Indian food and goat curry.
I love to make everything from scratch. My motto is "If you can make it home, make it!" I love cooking for my friends and family. It makes me happy to see them enjoying my food.
